Driver

Scope Of The Role

  • As a driver, you will be responsible for safely performing all official travel using official vehicles and regularly servicing and taking good care of official vehicles.

Tasks

  • passenger transport and run errands in an official car for office, staff, official visitors, and guests.
  • Completes the vehicle and maintains the logbook correctly and conscientiously in accordance with Travel Time Africa standards.
  • Ensures the interior and exterior of the vehicle(s) is always clean.
  • Reports need for service and carries out minor repairs.
  • Immediately reports all involvement of the office vehicle in accidents, including minor accidents, damage, loss, or theft of vehicle fittings.
  • Assists other colleagues as needed in the office if there is no travel or chauffeur service pending, carries out other office work on request.

Qualification Required & Experience

  • Secondary school education
  • Holds a valid driver’s licence D.
  • At least 1-3 years’ work experience as a driver with references
  • No major accidents in the past 3 years
  • Good knowledge of the English language
  • Familiarity with Ghana and the districts and regional capitals
  • Appropriate appearance and attire (possibly uniform, friendly manner with all passengers)

General Manager

Scope Of The Role

  • As a General Manager you are responsible for the overall day to day operations and providing training , creative programs/events for the growth of the organisation.

Task:

  • Provide general office support: communicate with property managers, vendors and suppliers (order stationery items, food and drinks, arrange cleaning and maintenance, etc);
  • Plan and control the office budget
  • Help manage local staff records
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, especially in the areas of workplace safety
  • Maintain contracts, invoices, correspondence and other records
  • Create and handle expense reports;
  • Help plan company outings and events
  • Manage document flow and archiving.

Qualification Required & Experience:

    • Diploma or Degree in tourism or related field
    • Good Knowledge of English and French. Spanish – advantage.
    • Strong background of administrative or secretarial support (minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position);
    • Plan vacation experiences for clients by offering itinerary suggestions on appealing destinations, tour packages, day trips, excursions, events, transportation, and accommodations based on individual/group needs.
    • Must Enjoy Helping People
    • Book all of the above in addition to flights, cruises, rail, rental cars, hotels, tickets, and travel insurance.
    • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
    • Knowledge in Accounting / Taxation / Investments etc.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to details;
    • Strong organisational and communication skills and problem solving skills;
    • Ability to prioritise and handle multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadline;
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Creative / Tour Guide

Scope Of The Role

  • As a Creative / Tour Guide your are responsible for showing travelers around the country and  designing creative programs and packages. This position is expected to interact with customers and visitors to create an environment that is engaging and hospitable.

Task:

  • Conduct  tours for solo and large groups of people
  • Manage flow and timing of tour
  • Support in event functions providing specialized tours
  • Support in tracking and ticketing of tours and events
  • Ensuring safety and leisure of all tour participants and visitors

Qualification Required & Experience : 

  • Certification / diploma in tourism or related field
  • 2 years of experience in related field
  • Comfortable being outdoor for most hours of the day
  • Friendly, enthusiastic and passionate
  • Time management skills
  • Flexible Hours (nights and weekends)
  • Able to work with a team and alone
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Organization skills
