-Welcome to a thrilling adventure in Ghana! Your journey begins with a smooth arrival at Kotoka International Airport, located in the heart of Accra, the bustling capital city known for its rich history and vibrant cultural scene.

-You’ll be warmly greeted right at the tarmac, where you’ll proceed to a lounge for a smooth checkout before being whisked away by transfer to your accommodation. Take some free time to relax or venture out to get your first taste of the city.

-As the evening unfolds, join us for a special welcome dinner – a perfect opportunity to mingle, savor delicious local cuisine, and gear up for the exciting experiences that await you in the vibrant heart of Ghana.

Getting our hair braided / Hair Cut and shop on before a beach party extravaganza

-Kickstart your morning in Ghana with a delightful breakfast at your hotel, setting the tone for a day filled with art, culture, and celebration. After breakfast, we’ll head to a local hair braider, where you get your hair done in intricate and protective styles. This is a fantastic opportunity to interact with locals and bond with each other over this tradition.

-Next, we’re off to Woodin and GTP, the premier destination for African-inspired textiles. Here, you can shop for beautifully designed fabrics that are perfect for gifts or personal keepsakes. -It’s time to see what Accra is all about! After breakfast, we’re off to do some sightseeing. First on the agenda is a visit to Independence Square, a significant landmark symbolizing Ghana’s freedom and resilience. From here, you’ll delve into the rich heritage of the nation at the Ghana National Museum, where you can admire a wide array of artifacts that tell the story of Ghana’s history and culture.

-The highlight of the day will be the AfroFuture Festival, an exhilarating celebration of African music, dance, and technology. Dive into the festive atmosphere and experience cutting-edge performances that showcase the continent’s dynamic fusion of tradition and modernity.

Start the day  at Elmina Castle and end it on the beach

-Another day, another amazing list of activities to conquer in Ghana! Grab one  breakfast at the hotel.

-Today, we’re headed to Cape Coast with a stop at the historic Elmina Castle, one of the most significant monuments in African history. Take a guided tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you’ll gain profound insights into the transatlantic slave trade and the complex history of the region.

-As evening approaches, get ready for a festive New Year’s Eve celebration. This special event includes a sumptuous dinner featuring a variety of local and international dishes, perfectly setting the mood for the festivities. Kick off the new year with a visit to the Nkrumah Museum and a sunset BBQ

-Happy New Year! We hope you aren’t too tired from a night of fun. Grab some breakfast, and maybe some coffee, to prepare you for another unforgettable day in Africa.

-We’ll head to the Nkrumah Museum, dedicated to the life and achievements of Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana’s first President and a pivotal figure in African history. This visit offers a deep dive into the country’s struggle for independence and Nkrumah’s visionary leadership.

-As the day winds down, get ready for a delightful evening with a sunset BBQ. Savor grilled delicacies, mingle with fellow travelers, and soak in the stunning views of the sunset over the Ghanaian landscape, creating the perfect end to another memorable day.

Shop at Makola Market, peruse the Artist Alliance Gallery, and conclude a killer adventure with a party at Sandbox Beach Club!

-It’s our final full day in Accra, which means we have to make it the best it can be! After breakfast, we’ll do just that with a trip to Makola Market, a renowned marketplace in the heart of the city. Here, you’ll have the chance to experience daily Ghanaian life up close, shop for everything from colorful fabrics to handcrafted jewelry, and interact with local vendors.

-Next, we’re off to the Artist Alliance Gallery, an impressive venue that showcases a wide range of contemporary African art. This gallery features works from some of Ghana’s most esteemed artists, offering insights into the country’s rich artistic traditions and modern creative expressions.

-The day concludes with our farewell dinner, sharing our favorite memories and discoveries we shared in this beautiful West African nation.

  • Day 8 · January 3, 2026
With a whole lot of memories and a new year in front of us, it’s time to head home

-Start your final day with a satisfying breakfast at the hotel, taking a moment to reflect on the wonderful experiences you’ve had in Ghana.

-After breakfast, complete your check-out procedures and gather your belongings, ready for the journey home.

-A group transfer will be arranged to take you to the airport, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free end to your stay. As you head to the airport, relish the memories and connections you’ve made during your visit. Safe travels, and we hope to see you again soon for another adventure!

What’s included in the price ?

Do i need a passport for this trip ?

A full and valid passport is required for all persons traveling to any destination outside of one’s home country. Most international tours require a passport that’s valid for at least six (6) months beyond the scheduled end of your itinerary. TTA will not issue refunds based on passport issues such as renewals or lost passports.

Will TTA take care of my visa (if applicable) ?

Travelers are responsible for researching visa requirements and obtaining a visa if needed. Please check government websites to ensure you have the necessary documents, along with passport requirements, before your departure date. This includes necessary transit visas, permits, and vaccinations required prior to travel and any required reciprocity fees for the destination. TTA will provide a booking confirmation document after purchase, which may be needed to obtain a visa.

If your visa is denied for any reason, Travel Time Africa will issue a refund based on the cancellation policy. However, we are unable to provide a refund after the cancellation due date has passed.

Cancellation Policy:

Refunds for deposits
We will hold your spot as soon as you put down your deposit. However, if you decide to cancel your trip, we will be unable to refund your deposit.

Refunds for balance payment
If you cancel your trip on or before Oct 23, 2025 at 11:59 PM local time (GMT +0), you will get a refund of the remaining balance. This may or may not include the deposit amount. See deposit refund section above.

If you cancel your trip from Oct 24, 2025 at 12:00 AM local time (GMT +0) onwards, no refunds will be issued.

To offer you the best deals and group rates, we need a minimum number of travelers to book this trip. If this number is not met, or an act of force majeure occurs, Travel Time Africa may make the call to cancel or reschedule. If the departure is canceled or rescheduled out of your control, you will be alerted by October 23, 2025 and will receive a full refund.
